By Car

1. To find Swn y Dwr take the slip road to Chrik,Glyn Ceriog & Llangollen from the A483 Wrexham to Oswestry bypass
2.  At the Whitehurst roundabout take the A5 Llangollen road, 2nd exit on the right ,continue pass the Jewson DIY on the left
3. Look for a layby with a bus stop, letterbox and telephone kiosk on the right hand side
4. Take the lane at the side of the layby signposted with a red T no through road
5. Carry on down the lane till you see Swn y Dwr, second house on the right almost at the bottom of the lane
6. From Llangollen take the A5 towards Chirk, the layby is immediatley after the concrete safety railway barriers on the left
   
   Please park on the driveway or if not possible there is a layby on the right hand side.

Walkers

Offas Dyke Walkers will find Swn y Dwr by coming off the path at the Irish bridge just after Plas Offa on the tow path walk back towards Chirk untill you come to a set of steps leading into a field, cross the field, go over the marked railway crossing, following the road past a bungolow and a cottage on the left, Swn y Dwr is the next house on the left.

Public Transport

Bus stop at the top of the lane on A5. Bus numbers 2 & 2a from Wrexham and 5a Llangollen. Trains to Chirk Station pick at the station by arrangement.
